ENIGMA - https://eu-enigma.eu - strives for excellence in protecting Cultural Goods and artefacts from man-made threats by contributing to identification, traceability and provenance research of cultural heritage assets and by protecting and monitoring endangered heritage sites. ENIGMA's objectives are designed to help concerned stakeholders better respond to this complex and multidimensional problem by promoting and enabling active collaboration through linking databases and evidence-based implementation of preventive measures.
To this end, ENIGMA is developing and introducing a number of complementary solutions and bringing them together in a single platform. The solutions include the application of satellite earth observation to protect archaeological sites, high-speed technology for the retrieval of potentially illegally acquired cultural assets, 3D reconstruction and more. 3D reconstruction and more.
In the project, the RMAH are responsible for project communication, training and education.
